去列治文赌场 华裔10万现金被没收
表示BC省对赌场洗钱查的特别严！
据报道，2月20日列治文River Rock还在正常营业的时候，华裔男子张某和他的三名同伴，拎着灰色袋子，里面共10万元的现金（分别为20元和50元的钞票）去赌场兑换游戏筹码。
由于金额过大，“现金捆扎或包装的方式与标准也和银行惯例不符”，于是赌场方要求张帆和他的同伴们出示有关的现金来源。
结果张某及其同伙无法提供任何的财产来源信息，随后列治文皇家骑警被叫到River Rock并缴获了这笔金钱。
根据民事诉讼文件，“在现金被没收后，警犬在这些钞票中嗅出违禁药物成分。”
卑诗民事充公办公室指出，这批现金很可能是非法活动的收益及工具。
根据民事诉讼文件，这些非法活动包括贩运违禁药物、出售非法大麻、洗钱，以及未申报应纳所得税等。
张某要么通过参与这些非法活动获得了大量现金，要么，他知道或应该知道这笔钱是犯罪所得。
文件还指出，如果上述两种潜在可能都不成立，那么张某就是故意漠视真相。
据悉，民事没收案件的举证责任比刑事案件要轻。目前，张某尚未对BC民事充公办公室的指控作出回应，且相关指控尚未得到法庭证实。
据了解，张某最后的居住地址在Grant Street，该房屋目前估价165万元，房屋落户在家庭主妇李某名下。 不过，从2014年10月起，张某成为该物业130万元房屋贷款的担保人。
该案发生在BC省NDP政府下令的为期两年的反洗钱调查活动期间。与此同时，从2015年1月到201.年5月，温哥华的基准房价上涨了70％以上，从$ 64.1万增至近$ 110万。同一时间BC药物滥用过量问题几乎翻了三倍，在201.年达到峰值死亡1,546人。
另根据一份政府报告，仅在2015年7月，River Rock赌场就接受了总额1,350万的20元现金钞票。

列治文华裔失踪 警方悬赏15万找人
加拿大的警方现悬赏15万元，寻找曾在15年前神秘消失的列治文华裔男子。
据悉，列治文居民邹申秋（Shen Chiu Tsou，音译），也叫安迪（Andy），曾在2005年6月前往哈利法克斯（Halifax）进行商务活动，随后神秘失踪。
2005年6月30日，警察收到邹妻子的报警电话，说她在2005年6月26日以来就没有得到过自己丈夫的任何消息。
哈利法克斯警方说，“邹在哈利法克斯和新斯科舍省其他地方认识了许多人，他在失踪之前一直住在哈利法克斯赌场酒店，以及其他私人住宅里。”
邹预定于6月26日晚上入住在哈利法克斯赌场酒店，但在该日却没有前往该酒店入住。从那之后，再也没有人见到过他。
邹的出租的汽车 – 一辆白色的Pontiac Grand Prix，也跟着他一起消失。
哈利法克斯警方综合刑事调查部门正在继续调查此案，新斯科舍省司法部表示他们悬赏15万元，以奖励提供导致邹某失踪的有效信息的人。
哈利法克斯警方在纪念邹失踪15周年的新闻稿中说：“真相说出来永远不会太晚，虽然可能只是非常小的信息，但是如果数量足够多，就能够慢慢拼凑出进行调查所需的信息。”
